To provide cost effective, eco -friendly and reliable solution to coastal communities through space borne platforms includes management of coastal, marine resources and hazards monitoring on real time basis. Thrust areas of the division include, formulation of Integrated Coastal Zone Management Map keeping in the Coastal Regulation Zone, critical areas of coastal erosion and associated process, coastal wetland including notified marine protected areas, Coastal Drainage congestion, Mangrove change detection, etc.
